Sesame Chicken

Need a quick and delicious week night meal that is easy to make and a family pleaser? These sesame chicken bites are it! The marinade is a cinch to make, the chicken sits in it for just 20 minutes, and then it just takes 10 minutes to broil. Pop some Trader Joe's frozen brown rice in the microwave, steam up some veggies (yes, I make lots of broccoli you may notice- it's one of my family's favorites), and you've got yourself a tasty meal!

Sesame Chicken
4 chicken breasts, cut into 1 ½ inch pieces
3 tablespoons sesame seeds
1/4 cup sodium soy sauce
½ tablespoon toasted sesame oil
3 tablespoons canola oil
3 tablespoons brown sugar
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 green onions, sliced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced (or ½ teaspoon ground ginger)

In a medium bowl, whisk together everything but chicken. Stir chicken pieces into the marinade and let sit for 20-30 minutes. Pour onto a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil.

Preheat oven to high broil. Broil chicken for 10 minutes (check that the biggest pieces are cooked through). Enjoy!
