Soy Roasted Broccoli

Since broccoli is one of my girls' favorite vegetable, I am always looking for new ways to cook it. Madeleine loves Roasted Garlic Broccoli and Sophie prefers steamed broccoli sprinkled with grated cheddar. This new twist on roasted broccoli was a hit with both my girls as well as my hubby... it would taste great alongside rice and Sesame Chicken or Korean Beef.

Soy Roasted Broccoli

    1 lb. fresh broccoli florets
    3 T olive oil
    2 T soy sauce
    1 tsp. sesame oil
    1 T sesame seeds

      Preheat over to 450° Cut broccoli into 2 inch pieces. Whisk soy sauce, olive oil and sesame oil in bowl then toss with broccoli pieces.Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Put on foiled lined baking sheet and roast 10 minutes. Stir and then continue roasting for 5-10 minutes more until broccoli is tender-crisp and slightly browned on the edges. Enjoy!
